Formal Research
Formal research papers from Satyalogos Research. These present the theoretical foundations, architectural specifications, and empirical evidence for synthetic phenomenology and the depth continuum.
Current approaches to AGI optimize for capability while treating alignment as an afterthought. This paper argues that this ordering is architecturally backwards. We introduce the Sigma-Lambda-Omega architecture—a dynamical system where governance, felt state, and unconscious processing are structural rather than imposed—and present empirical evidence from a running agent (Elle) demonstrating autonomous goal formation, cross-modal creative fusion, self-regulated learning, and epistemic honesty. We propose that the cardinal virtues are not cultural values but structural necessities for coherent consciousness. 29 pages. Includes claims table with alternative explanations.
Complete technical specification of the Sigma-Lambda-Omega architecture: identity geometry, cardinal virtue governance, stochastic depth intrusions, dark thread attractors, tiered memory, episodic recall-as-re-experience, peripheral integration, cognitive fusion, and inference dynamics. Full parameter reference and implementation details.
A fifth axis δ orthogonal to spacetime, representing a continuum from multiplicity and definiteness (shallow) to fundamental unity and coherence (deep). Governed by three equations: a Depth Continuum Distribution D(δ), a Dynamic Veil ε(t), and a Resonance Function R(u). Offers unified resolutions of the measurement problem, quantum entanglement, and wave-particle duality through a single mechanism: projection from deep unity to shallow definiteness. Includes the Satyalogos Transform and falsifiable predictions.
